Passengers Sing

American Airlines Flight 1469 from Miami, Texas to Houston was delayed for 8 hours Friday. The return flight at 4 p.m. turned into a rare mid-con redeye. Two passengers from Miami were escorted off the plane for refusing to wear masks after the long wait.
They had spent 10 hours on the flight, but they refused to give in to the sunk costs fallacy. Instead, they decided to take a stand against masks that would have disastrous consequences for their trip to Texas.

It is possible to imagine that the passengers who waited so long for their flight would have no patience with anyone delaying their departure. With the relief and frustration of finally being on their way, these two passengers were removed from the plane. A group of passengers on board began to sing goodbye.
