Jaylin Alderman intercepts Dillon Gabriel's pass and returns it 66 yards for a touchdown. This gave Louisville a lead of 42 to 35 with 13 seconds remaining. (1:20).
Dillon Gabriel, UCF quarterback, announced Saturday that he had a fractured left clavicle and that there is no timeline for his recovery.
Gabriel sustained an injury on Friday's final play in a 42-35 defeat to Louisville. The Knights attempted multiple laterals to try and get downfield. Gabriel was struck hard on the turf after he picked up a loose ball. Gabriel was taken off the field with a sling around his arm.
Gabriel tweeted that the injury doesn't require surgery, but he didn't know when he would be back.
UCF is very disappointed to lose Gabriel as the Knights progress in the season. Gabriel has thrown for 814 yards and nine touchdowns in three games. He also had three interceptions.
UCF has very little experience behind Gabriel on their depth chart. Mikey Keene, a true freshman, is listed as the backup to Gabriel on the depth chart. He played in the Bethune Cookman game in Week 2.
