Queens man killed in front of father at Pat’s Steaks in Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are searching for the killer of a Queens man, who was attacked to death at Pats Steaks in front of his father.
His father, Isidro, and a friend, were visiting Pats on Thursday morning, after attending a professional soccer match in Chester, Pa. According to Philadelphia police.

Cortez and his father got into an argument with their friend's dad, according to cops. They were confronted by four men in yellow soccer jerseys that had Club America written across them. Club America is a Mexican soccer team that played at Subaru Park in Chester Wednesday night.

According to police, the four-man group attacked Cortez punching, kick and hitting him with a metal lid from a trashcan.

Cortez's father was also attacked by the group, whom cops didn't name but who they said was 64 years. Cortez' friend, a 28 year-old male who was also not named, was also attacked by the group.

Police were summoned at 1:56 AM on Thursday. Cops stated that Cortez was declared dead by medics on the spot at 2:07 AM.

Cortez's friend and father were taken to the local hospital. They were reported as being in stable condition.

The four suspects were described by police as white males in their 20s with light skin. Late Thursday night, they reported that no arrests were made in the case.
