Brian Laundrie, fiancé of missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito, has also gone missing, attorney for the family says

According to the lawyer for the Laundrie family, Brian Laundrie is also reported to have disappeared as the fianc of Gabby Petito, 22-year-old girl who was missing.

According to the attorney, Petito's case is being investigated by the FBI.

The attorney advised local media that Brian Laundrie's whereabouts are unknown.

This news comes just hours after Laundrie's family invited authorities to visit their home.

According to Laundrie’s lawyer, the FBI took items from his parents' house on Friday to help in his search.

Gabby Petito's mother reported her missing on September 11th, after Gabby hadn't been heard from since August.

Petito vanished on a cross-country trip with Laundrie. Laundrie has not cooperated in any way with authorities, despite Petito's pleas to his family.
