According to a new book, former President Donald Trump suggested that he repaint his Boeing 757 private plane to look like Air Force One and fly it across the country "as an act of taunting" President Joe Biden.
Robert Costa and Bob Woodward, reporters, write that Trump brought up the topic to golfing buddies at least once in their book "Peril." Insider received a copy of "Peril" before its September 21 release.
Trump stated that the American people love that plane after a single round of golf, according to the book. I am considering getting it redecorated in white, blue, and white. The Air Force One look I believe Air Force One should have.
Trump claimed that the Air Force One aesthetic was his "brand", the authors write. Trump stated: "I don’t do the corporate Jet thing." I won't show up in a little Gulfstream looking like a fucking CEO.
Trump was determined to give Air Force One a red, white and blue makeover when he was President. The Pentagon's February 2020 budget request includes a proposal for repainting the plane.
"Peril"'s authors also claim that Trump was obsessed by the cost, design and aesthetics of USS Gerald R. Ford. He was a Naval aircraft carrier and regularly complained about it to top military officials like Gen. Mark Milley (chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff).
The book also states that Trump repeatedly complained about the generals and admirals as being terrible businessmen. They were particularly bad at purchasing and negotiating on ships. This ensured that the military was constantly being ripped off."

Trump stated that he was in the construction industry and told his military advisers, in one meeting. According to the book, Trump said, "I know about elevators" how they can fail "if water gets on them."
Trump wasn't particularly happy with the location of the island, which was placed in the rear of his ship. According to the book, Navy officials informed Trump that the island was placed in the back to make it easier to land on.
It doesn't look right. Trump once said to Milley that he has an eye for aesthetics. He then ran his fingers through his hair, jokingly, "Can you tell?"
