Will Urban Meyer join Belichick, Saban and a who’s who of others on football’s ‘Quit List?’

Urban Meyer feels that January is eight years old, rather than eight months ago.

Meyer stated that he was ready to coach the Jacksonville Jaguars when he was hired by the team.

This decision has been analyzed from all angles. I believe it is the right time to return to coaching. I am excited about the long-term prospects for this organization.

One picture is worth a thousand words, in this instance a video. Meyer appeared miserable earlier this week as he was asked about the rumors about him being interested in the USC head coach vacancy.

Meyer said that Meyer had no chance.

But does his body language match? You are the one who will decide.

Since Meyer was hired, Jacksonville has been nothing but a s**t show ever since. He hired a coach who has a history of racism at Iowa, despite thoroughly vetting him. He signed Tim Tebow to play tight-end and then cut him. Meyer also racked up fines and the team for not following the rules. A new report claims that this is the only reason team morale is low.

It feels as if the Jaguars are still trying to figure out when Meyer will leave, even though Week 2 is already underway.

Meyer will be joining the Quit List if that happens. This is a group that includes football coaches who quit their jobs after promising they would not and/or leaving before they got started.
