Donald Trump has been a great help to many people, so someone decided that he should be repaid the kindness with some dog poop on his Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
One person dropped some weight on the star Thursday... much to the chagrin or delight of tourists... depending on their political bent.
This is also interesting: the person who dropped the do-do will not be prosecuted because it'sn't vandalism. CA law allows someone to be charged with vandalism if "they deface with graffiti or any other inscribed material" and if they damage, or destroy another person's property.
A hosing down is enough.
It is possible to charge the offender with violating L.A.’s pooper scooper statute, which requires dog owners and their dogs to clean up after them.

Over the past five years, there has been a lot of vandalism to that star. James Otis, who is a member the Otis Elevator family, picked a pickax on the star in 2016, and many times over the years. He pleaded not guilty to vandalism, and was sentenced to community service and a $4,000. fine. He was placed on three years probation.
