BINGPOT
It was a difficult task, but the Brooklyn Nine-Nine series finale is over. This is it. No more Halloween heists.
Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz and Andre Braugher joined Seth Meyers at Late Night to talk about the series. Although Terry Crews and Chelsea Peretti couldn't make it, they were there in spirit (and, in Crews' instance, in cardboard with electronically moving pecks).
There was much to discuss, from their final table read about Zoom to Goor's writing that every Jake and Amy kiss is "tender", to Samberg's and Fumero’s dismay, to the cancellation of the show and its resurrection through fandom and the props they stole from it, There were also a few theme song-based messages by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Craig Robinson. Also, Dianne Wiest, Charles Boyle's favorite, dropped in.
"I think that all of us feel extremely proud of the work we did last season. It was full with many strange challenges...the writing challenges and the acting challenges. But it felt joyous. Beatriz said that it felt so joyful when we completed it.
