We are close to the Apple Watch 7, but we already have reports on features in the next version, the Apple Watch 8.
Ming-Chi Kuo, analyst at Apple Insider, claims that Apple will include a body temperature sensor in its next year's Watch. This feature is very useful during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Given Apple's commitment towards adding health-related features to its Watch, it wouldn't be out of place to include a body temperature sensor. Apple Watch 6 is the current version of the wearable. It has a heart rate sensor and a blood oxygen monitor.
Although we would prefer to see the body temperature sensor in the next iteration, that seems very unlikely. Kuo has good news for the Apple Watch 7.
Kuo claimed that Apple has resolved these problems and that the Apple Watch 7 will launch this month, following reports that it would be hard to find the product when it launches.
Kuo also spoke out about the Apple Watch 7's new features, claiming that the most significant change would be a "dramatic design change." The Watch 7 will feature a smaller display and a flatter design, something we've heard before. However, it is worth noting that the Watch's rounded design has remained the same since its inception.
We will likely learn more about the new iPhone 13 and Apple Watch 7 in September 14, so keep checking back for updates.
