LIVE Transfer Talk: Borussia Dortmund committed to Bellingham despite Premier League interest

The top European leagues have closed the summer transfer window! Many clubs waited until the very last minute to complete their transfers after a busy summer of international football. Check out our evaluation of the most important signings and all the deals. The window will close in January but that doesn't mean that rumors won't continue to circulate.
TOP STORY: Bellingham Approaches: Dortmund takes a step back

According to Patrick Berger, Sport1 journalist, Borussia Dortmund will reject any offer for wonderkid Jude Bellingham. However, Liverpool is interested.

Jurgen Klopp is believed to be watching the England international and considering a possible transfer next summer to bolster his midfield options.

The contract for the 18-year old still has four years remaining and there is no release clause. This allows the Bundesliga club to possibly stand firm on their commitment not to lose the midfielder.

After becoming the youngest player ever to represent the Blues at the age of 16, Bellingham moved to Dortmund from Birmingham City for approximately 20 million.

He has played in Gareth Southgate’s squads since then. He made his England debut in November 2020, and he also appeared in three European Championship games.

Klopp, who had Georginio Wijaldum leave Liverpool on a free after the summer ended, was unable to find a replacement on the transfer market. However, he has been in contact with several to fill the void.

Bellingham has played with Liverpool players in England's side. Most recently, Bellingham teamed up with Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield at Wembley to face Andorra.

09.47 BST: Valencia's midfielder Carlos Soler said that he wants to stay with the club beyond June 2023 when his contract expires.

Soler, 24 years old, is currently in his sixth year at Valencia. This summer, he has been a big draw for several clubs. He was awarded silver at the Olympics with the national team.

Soler stated that there has been interest, but no offers. "I would love to continue, but in football you never know what could happen next year.

"I have a contract through 2023, and I feel calm. We will discuss any extension of contract in good time. Since I was seven years old, I have been playing for this club since I was 17. Valencia has always been my dream.

09:00 BST: Chelsea will revive interest in Jules Kounde if Sevilla lowers their asking price to around 50million. This is where they almost reached an agreement this summer, according to ESPN's James Olley.

Sevilla insisted that any clubs interested had to comply with Kounde's 80m buyout clause at the beginning of the season. However, this position changed as the window closed.

ESPN reported that Kounde was keen to move to Stamford Bridge. Sources claim that the 22-year old has already agreed to a contract for a four- or five-year period.

Chelsea are still interested in reaching an agreement, but they continue to resist paying Kounde's 80m buyout. If there is evidence that Sevilla is willing to restart negotiations at a reduced figure, they will return in January.

Calciomercato reports that Fiorentina striker Dusan Velahovic will sign a new contract with the Serie A club, but that he could still leave before the expiry date. Although he was being linked to a number of clubs during the summer transfer market, Vlahovic chose to remain with his current club. According to reports, the new deal will run until 2025. It would make Vlahovic the highest-earning player in club history, with nearly 5m per year including bonuses. A release clause of 80m has been included, which could lead to his departure.

- Liverpool are in the race to sign AC Milan's midfielder Franck Kesselie, with Thiago Alcantara potentially moving the other way. Calciomercato reports that the Reds are joining Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and others in seeking a move for the Ivory Coast international. The Rossoneri may lose the 24-year-old midfielder because he has only one year left on his current contract. Non-Serie A clubs would be able sign him on a contract agreement in January.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are keeping an eye on Burnley winger Dwight McNeil in preparation for a move to Merseyside. Rafa Benitez, New Toffees boss, was reported to be interested in the England youth international. However, the club's financial constraints prevented a move from happening. The focus now shifts to the future transfer windows and McNeil's development in the coming season.

Bayern Munich is eyeing Konrad Laimer, after securing Marcel Sabitzer as a star for RB Leipzig. Calciomercato reports that the Bundesliga champions want to add the midfielder. He played every game at the European Championships for Austria, scoring one assist with his compatriot Sabitzer.
