US Open: Leylah Fernandez beats Aryna Sabalenka to reach New York final

Canadian teenager Leylah Farandez beat second seed Aryna Sabalenka, to make it to the US Open final. She will now face Emma Raducanu (18 years old).

The unseeded Fernandez turned 19 Monday and won 7-6 (7-3 4-6 6-4 to win a tight semi against the Belarusian

Fernandez has been assured her place in Saturday’s final after she showed all her nerves and skill to defeat Sabalenka, 23 years old.
