'Halloween Kills' will stream on Peacock the same day it hits theaters

Keep your doors locked and make sure you have a current Peacock subscription. Michael Myers will be bringing Halloween Kills to both the theaters and the NBCUniversal streaming site Oct. 15.
Universal Pictures announced Thursday that the long-awaited sequel, Halloween (2018) by David Gordon Green, will be available on the platform for all Peacock Premium subscribers at no extra cost. The cost of the service is $4.99 per month for ads and $9.99 per monthly without.

Peacock has another opportunity to improve its streaming game after failing to attract subscribers in early 2021. They gained subscribers at the Tokyo Olympics but are yet to report on how many have stayed on afterward.

Halloween Kills, like the 2018 reboot, stars Jamie Lee Curtis playing Laurie Strode, scream queen, opposite Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney, who team up as Michael Myers (also known under the name The Shape). Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Will Patton will reprise their roles as Haddonfield's Officer Frank Hawkins. Thomas Mann and Anthony Michael Hall join the cast.

Halloween Kills will be in theaters and online on October 15.
