James Gandolfini, Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa were so drunk prior to filming a scene on "The Sopranos", they had to be tied to trees.
Schirripa, in a recent interview with Insider, revealed that the actors had previously shared whiskey before filming the scene in season four where Tony Soprano and Christopher Moltisanti (Imperioli), throw Ralphie Cifaretto's (Joe Pantoliano's) body off a cliff.
Schirripa recalls that Jim [Gandolfini] and Michael (Break) drank Wild Turkey while setting up the lights.
He said, "They were so drunk they had to chain themselves to a tree because they were afraid of falling off the cliff."

In a previous episode of "Talking Sopranos", Imperioli and Schirripa discussed this behind-the scenes moment.
The scene Schirripa mentioned occurs in season four's episode "Whoever did This." Tony and Christopher travel upstate New York to dispose Ralphie’s body after Tony strangles the actor to death.
The mob boss believed Ralph set a stable fire that resulted in the death of Tony's prized horse, Pie-O-My. He confronted him shortly before he killed him. The mob boss then called Christopher to help him dismember Ralph's body. They both threw Ralph's remains into the quarry that night.
Interview with Insider: Schirripa teased Imperioli about his forthcoming book.
The book, titled "Woke Up This Morning", is expected to be published in November. The book, which Schirripa says is essential for fans of "Sopranos", will be released in early November.
