According to a Wall Street Journal report, Gisele Bndchen and Tom Brady are the latest celebrities to talk crypto in a new FTX ad. The crypto exchange is looking to expand in the US.

The ad will be featured in a $20 million advertising campaign that begins Thursday and continues through October. This is another investment in star power by the rapidly-rising cryptocurrency exchange, which just days ago signed a brand ambassador agreement with Steph Curry, NBA superstar.

Despite the star power and big topline numbers, the ad, "FTX. Are You In? You In? Instead, it consists of Brady calling up friends to spread word about FTX. Dogecoin is the only cryptocurrency mentioned explicitly by an office worker who was slightly confused and pronounces it as "doggy coins".

"We're the newcomers to the scene," FTX.US president Brett Harrison told the Journal, who said that the ad campaign's goal was to create brand awareness in a sometimes-intimidating market. He said that FTX's hiring of high-profile figures such as Curry and Brady should be a sign that they are a trustworthy company.

FTX has been on a marketing spree. It signed a $135m deal earlier this year for the naming rights to the Miami Heat's stadium now known as FTX Arena.

It will also be the official cryptocurrency exchange for the MLB and its logo will appear on official uniforms as well as broadcasts. In August, FTX signed a seven year deal with North America's League of Legends circuit. This circuit is one of the most popular broadcasts for the 18-to-24-year-old US population.
