Tetris has been a favorite of gamers the world over since it debuted in 1984, so PUMA is celebrating its forever-falling puzzles with a new capsule of shoes and apparel.

Featuring tumbling Tetrimino blocks and bold game-inspired color palettes, both of the collection's shoes - an RS-X and an RS 9.8 - pay their homages in an engaging fashion. Heat-cut logos grace the tongues, bright accents abound, and the RS-X's extended heel features a "HARD DROP" text hit, a nod to the in-game command that makes a block immediately land in its resting place.

As Tetris is all about completing lines, PUMA has also presented special apparel that fits with the duo of silhouettes. The XTG Track Jacket features a leaping PUMA cat on the chest and a Formstripe on the back, one that's constructed of perfectly-arranged Tetriminos. This is matched with a pair of XTG track pants, and the collection is completed by a co-branded T-shirt.

The Tetris x PUMA collection is available now at Puma.com. The RS-X arrives in men's ($120 USD) and kids ($95 USD) sizes, while the RS 9.8 ($100 USD) is a men's exclusive. Prices for the apparel range from $35 USD for the T-shirt, to $75 USD for the track pants and $85 USD for the track jacket.

In other collaborative PUMA news, the German footwear brand partnered with Italian performance automobile manufacturer Ferrari for a new SF Cell Alien.
