The IHG Premier Card currently offers a 150,000 IHG Rewards Club Points welcome bonus after you spend $3,000 in the first three months. The card's $89 annual fee will be waived for the first twelve months. This is a great way to test the card before buying it.
IHG Rewards Club points are valued at 0.5 cents per, so the 150,000 points I receive is worth $750. This is a great bonus, especially considering the waived annual fee for the first year.

The annual free night certificate is more than enough to justify the annual fee. Everything else is just icing on top.

Bottom line
IHG Premier Card offers a fantastic welcome bonus of 150,000 IHG Rewards Club Points upon minimum spending. The $89 annual fee for the card is waived the first year. For those who don't yet have the card, this is a great deal.
Although I don't consider IHG Rewards Club to be comparable to other hotel loyalty programs in terms of its value, I think the $89 annual fee is well worth it. I also like the Platinum status and the free annual night certificate.
