Logitech has announced a new dock that is all-in-one and can be used to meet the needs of hybrid workers in a post-pandemic world. We spent a lot of time talking to our users during the pandemic. This helped us understand their pain points and needs in a work-from home world. Logi Dock was the result, according to Scott Wharton (general manager and vice-president of Logitech video collaboration).
The Logi Dock costs $399 and allows you to connect five USB devices, two monitors, and charge a laptop using one cable. Because the dock is designed for meetings, it's a huge speaker. The Logi Dock has meeting controls that allow you to quickly disable or mute video in Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Logitech even includes a noise-cancelling speakerphone, which makes it simple to join meetings without the need for a dedicated microphone or headset.
Logitechs Logi Tunes software will integrate Logi Dock into your calendar. Logi Dock will notify you when a meeting is about start. You can join the meeting by simply tapping the dock. The Logi Dock can be used as a speaker on your computer or other Bluetooth-enabled devices, even if you aren't using it for meetings.
Two USB-A 3.0 ports are located at the rear of the Logi Dock, along with two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports. There is also a DisplayPort and two USB-C 3.1 Generation 1 ports. A Kensington lock slot and a Bluetooth pairing button are available. A USB-C 3.0 Gen 1 port is located on the side.
Logitechs Logi dock will be available this winter in graphite or white options for $399
