Choice Privileges just announced the details of the next major promotion. It will launch in the coming days. Although it is unlikely that you will switch to Choice for any stay, this promotion is worth considering if you are already planning a stay.
Choice Privileges Fall 2021 Promotion
Choice Privileges will offer 2,000 bonus points for stays of 2 nights and 5,000 bonus points for stays of 3 or more nights. This promotion is available for stays between September 12th and October 31st 2021.
These are the basics to know:
Register before you check-out for your first stay
Bookings must be made directly through Choice (app, website or phone).
Qualifying stays are those that qualify for Choice Privileges points. This excludes stays booked at rates lower than 40USD per night, reward nights stays, stays with employees rates, and so on.
WoodSpring Suites or Ascend Hotel Collection all inclusive resorts are not eligible
To qualify, you must change your earnings preference to Choice Privileges Points.
Within 72 hours of a check-out eligible, points should be posted
This promotion does not apply to properties located in Japan, Norway or Sweden.
To be eligible, you will need a Choice Privileges account in one of these regions: USA, Canada, Mexico or Europe. You also have to have an account in any participating country in Central America, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand or Singapore.

What are Choice points worth in value?
Choice Privileges points are worth 0.75 cents each. This promotion represents a $15 incremental returns on stays of two nights and a $37.50 incremental return for stays of three nights or more. These are in addition to the normal points earnings rates.
To give you an example of how Choices Privileges points can be used well, redeem them at Scandinavian properties, such as the Clarion Collection Hotels Folketeateret or the Clarion Collection Hotels Bastion. You can redeem 16,000 points per day for a Clarion Collection property, which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These hotels are often priced at $200+ per night.
