Gonzaga coach Mark Few cited in Idaho for driving under the influence

According to The Spokesman-Review's police report, Mark Few, Gonzaga men’s basketball coach was pulled over for driving under the influence Monday night.
According to the report Few was stopped north of Coeur d'Alene at 8 p.m. on Monday, a popular destination for vacationers in Idaho. According to police, Few was speeding and driving erratically.

Few was pulled over by police. His blood alcohol content was.119 and 0.120. The legal limit is.08.

Chris Standiford, Gonzaga's athletic director, released a statement stating that the school was aware of the report about Few.

Standiford stated that while the details of the situation are still being analyzed, they understand the severity of it and the legal process which will follow. "As Gonzaga employees, we respect Coach Few’s privacy and will refrain any further comment."

Few has been Gonzaga's head coach since 1999. He helped the Bulldogs to become one of the most successful college basketball teams. His two Final Four appearances have included a national championship appearance in last season's final game.
