LG’s portable Xboom 360 speaker brings its own light show

LG, the company responsible for a whole line of party speakers that were loved by muscle-y men who drink beer in buckets, has returned with a more refined model. The LG Xboom 360 speaker (model RP4) has a design that is still party-oriented, but has a wine-from-a box aesthetic.
The portable 360-degree speaker is powered by a 29Wh lithium battery, which can last for 10 hours before needing to be recharged. When plugged in to the wall, the speaker can provide 120W power to its 5.25" woofer and 2" horn tweeter. It also accepts audio via Bluetooth, USB, and Aux-in. The companion app allows you to customize the light's ambient, nature, or party presets. You can choose from beige, black, green, or burgundy fabric covers.

It also includes the DJ Effect, which allows you to mix samples and scratch. Oh, god.

The new Xboom RP4 will be available in key markets this month, including the US. It is priced at $399.99. You can also buy two to get double the audio. You deserve it.
