A BBC reporter looks stunned after Sen. Lindsey Graham stated that the US would likely invade Afghanistan again.

Graham, a Republican spoke with Stephen Sackur, BBC presenter, about how he would treat Afghans if the Taliban took over Afghanistan.

Graham stated: "But, most importantly, they will give safe haven Al Qaeda who wants to drive us from the Mid East writ big and attack us for our way of living."

"We will be returning to Afghanistan as we did in Iraq and Syria."

Sackur looked stunned and interrupted Graham.

"Hang on. "Hang on.

Graham responded, "We'll need to. We will have to. Because of the scale of the threat. It will be a hotbed for radical Islamic behavior."

When the Taliban was last in power, it provided refuge for terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda.

As Insider's John Haltiwanger reported, experts now believe that Afghanistan could become a breeding ground of terrorism.
