Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, a New York Democrat is reportedly not blaming New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's ineptness regarding the deadly storm that struck the city.
Some of her Queens constituents disagreed.

Ocasio Cortez stated Monday that we needed more notice from the NWS.
"I don’t blame climate change. According to the New York Post, one resident blamed the mayor after Ocasio Cortez and de Blasio toured her block.
The resident said, "There was absolutely nothing warning." "I didn't expect water from my drain to be the one that would kill me."
A public school teacher was reported to have yelled at Democrats during their tour of the homes.
"How can you not be in this community?" You don't give ***!" a damn. According to the New York Post, the woman told Ocasio Cortez that she didn't give a damn!

Floodwaters reached as high as 8 feet in certain sections of the region.
