Sims 4 Spa Day update adds high maintenance Sims and ways to pamper them

Sims 4s Spa Day Game Pack was released in 2015, six years ago. This week, a free update has been made that includes nail designs by Ebonix. The September 7th update will add a number of additional features, including a new High Maintenance trait, and the ability to allow child Sims do yoga and meditate.
Maxis states that Sims have new options for getting manicures, pedicures and facial masks. Sims can also earn money teaching mindfulness. Sims can now aim to become a Zen Guru or Self-Care Specialist or just seek Inner Peace.

This means that I not only have a Simself in an @TheSims Trailer but also created these gorgeous nails for the Spa Day Refresh!

Danielle EbonixSims Udo, a veteran modder of The Sims, has contributed significantly to the game's ability to create diverse Sims. Ebonix and other modders such as Amira Xmiramira Virgil are credited for creating new skin tones, hairstyles, and diversity options for Black sims.

The update comes just over a year ago, when Lyndsay Pearson, executive producer and general manger of The Sims, promised that Maxis would do more to create diverse Sims and that it would work with the community to ensure this happens.

Pearson stated that The Sims franchise is based on inclusivity. We set out from the beginning to allow you to build Sims that are like you or others. We understand that it is hard to live up to this promise.

Spa Day will now be available on PC, Mac, Xbox One and PS4 and will be free for anyone who has the game pack.
