Awesome: Priority Pass Adds Airport Spas

Update: Priority Pass was joined in May by the DTW and SAN Be Relax spas. Now, the LAX Be Relax spa has joined Priority Pass. This has been updated in the post.
Priority Pass members now have the option to receive complimentary spa treatments at selected airports in the United States. This is quite cool.

Join Priority Pass to Relax Spas

Priority Pass, the largest global network of independent airport lounges with more than 1,300 locations worldwide, is the best. Although most Priority Pass locations can be described as traditional lounges, there are many unique experiences available, such as the numerous airport restaurants that make up the network.

Priority Pass now has three Be Relax spa locations at airports. Particularly:

Priority Pass members receive what Be Relax treatments?

Priority Pass members have the right to any of these treatments at Be Relax airport spa locations

30 minute Lounger Massage Be Back ($35 value)

15-minute Lounger Massage with Aromatherapy & O2 Back ($35 Value)

10 minute Head Massage plus Aromatherapy & O2 Head Up ($38 value)

10 minute Foot Massage plus Aromatherapy & O2 Be Feet ($38 value)

Please note:

For confirmed same-day travel, you will need to present a valid boarding card. However, arriving boarding passes should suffice.

Members can bring up to one guest, which could mean that two people could receive treatments.

Priority Pass members who are not Amex card holders don't have this right, since Amex prohibits all non-lounge experiences.

If you have the time, who wouldn't like a quick back, head, or foot massage in between flights? This makes it kind of sad that I rarely travel through these airport terminals.

Be Relax has locations in more US airports than any other. I'm not sure if these locations were added to attract more business or if they are the most quiet and needed the most. But here's hoping.

Priority Pass is a program that pays participating places a set amount per visit. Some people use it to get into a lounge. Others go towards dining at a restaurant. In other cases, it goes towards something else (like this).

Are you allowed to tip at Be Relax spas

Since the question is likely to be raised in the comments, I thought I'd address it. I believe that you should tip Priority Pass for spa treatments, even if you tip for paid spa services.

Priority Pass is another way to pay for your massage. It can be used in place of cash.

The expectation in the USA is to tip for spa services

Bottom line

Priority Pass members can now join the Be Relax airport spas to receive a complimentary treatment either before or after their flight. This is a great new feature for Priority Pass, and I'm hoping to see more.

Let's hope this doesn't become so popular that you have to wait an hour to get it.
