Ryan Fraser, Kenny McLean, and Nathan Patterson have been expelled from Scotland's vital World Cup qualifier in Austria.
Paul McGinn (30), an uncapped Hibernian defender, has been called up to play in Tuesday's Group F match at Vienna.
McLean, Patterson and McLean were prominent in Saturday's win against Moldova. McLean was also present in Friday's 1-0 victory. McLean and Fraser participated in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Denmark.
Steve Clarke's Scots rank third in the group, one point ahead of Austria and two behind second-placed Israel.
After five matches, Denmark is five points ahead Israel.
The reasons behind the trio's departure have not been announced by the Scottish FA. McGinn joins his younger brother John in this squad. McGinn was previously called up by Clarke but not capped.
Clarke had spoken highly of Patterson's impact on Rangers' first weekend at the game, saying that he was a "big guy" having played a crucial role in the country's win.
