Running concurrently with Takashi Murakami's "Baka" exhibition is Josh Sperling 's "So It Goes" presentation at Galerie Perrotin's 10 Impasse Saint-Claude space in Paris, France. Sperling unveils new architectural inventions in the white-walled space, encompassing sculptural paintings in unruly yet balanced forms. Sperling's signature swirling pieces in tonal black completely invade the walls in one room. In other room, the artist presents unseen tondi (circular paintings) mimicking chain links in an array of vivid and dissonant hues. For this body of work, the artist continues his journey to find harmony between contrasting colors.

"Josh Sperling usually decides on the use of color at the last moment, after the production of the works he 'composes', in his own terms. In the process of refining their fabrication and installation, he skilfully deploys his technique and opens himself up to new possibilities," said Perrotin in a statement.

Tour "So It Goes" above and then visit Galerie Perrotin's website for further details on the show. The exhibition is on view until December 21, 2019.

Elsewhere in art, SBI Art Auction will soon launch a dynamic sale of works by KAWS, Jeff Koons, and more in Tokyo's Ba-Tsu Art Gallery.
