Ren Hefley, a former Michigan quarterback, made NCAA history Saturday when he passed for 10 touchdowns against St. Andrews.

The Blue Hose threw 12 touchdown passes as a team. Backup Tyler Huff added two scores in the final minutes. This broke the previous record of 11 touchdown passes that Eastern Washington had set against the University of Houston in 1990. Hefley's total is the highest number of touchdown passes ever thrown in a FCS game.

Hefly broke the tie between Willie Totten of Mississippi Valley State in 1984 and Drew Hubel from Portland State in 2007.

The transfer was 38-of-50 and gained 538 yards. Here are the details of each of his touchdowns:

Lawson Bachelder: One-yard pass

Jalen Jones - 62 yard pass

Jalyn Witcher's pass at 79 yards

Jalyn Witcher: 36-yard pass

Tyler Huff: Nine yard pass

Jacobi Jones - 25 yard pass

Five-yard pass for Jalyn Witcher

Brayden Cash - One-yard Pass

Matthew Rivera: 49 yard pass

Pass to Delvecchio Polo II, six yards

Anyone who had been following the team's offseason should not be surprised to see that Presbyterian's offense was constantly chasing the goal line. After winning nine Arkansas state championships, Kevin Kelley was hired as the team's first-year coach.

He is well-known for refusing to punt and using only onside kicks.

Given the Blue Hose's approach to their games, this might not be Hefly or Kelley's last appearance in the record books.
