Twin boys died of heat stroke after being left in an SUV for at least 9 hours

A coroner's report indicates that the twins died from heatstroke after they were left in the car for more than nine hours.

According to authorities, the parents may have forgotten to drop their children at daycare before they went to work.

According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, twin 20-month-old boys died after being left in a hot SUV for nine hour.

Brayden McDaniel and Bryson McDaniel, were found by their parents in a car outside their daycare center, Sunshine House Early Learning Academy in Blythewood (South Carolina).

Nadia Rutherford, Coroner, said that the boys died from heatstroke due to being left in the car accidently by their parents. Rutherford stated that the cause of death was still unknown at a Thursday press conference.

Children and Car Safety reported to The State that the temperature in the car could have reached 120 degrees.

Rutherford stated that the boys were healthy and well taken care of by their families before their death.

Their bodies were examined and found no evidence of neglect or abuse. However, one lung abnormality was discovered that required further testing.

Rutherford stated, "If this is an unfortunate incident, we pray for the family to find peace one day." "We have two very distraught mothers."

Richland County Sheriff's Department currently investigates the deaths of the boys to determine the chronology.
