TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady had a scary year last year when his parents were both positive for COVID-19. He was also diagnosed with the disease in February.
Brady disclosed that he had tested positive for the virus after the Bucs' Super Bowl boat parade in February.
Brady stated that he believes that the coronavirus will pose a greater challenge this year, despite having a 100% vaccination rate. This makes them the second NFL team to achieve that level, after the Atlanta Falcons.
Brady stated that he believes it will play a greater role this year than it did last year because of how we are doing things now, what the stadium looks like and how the travel will look and the people inside and outside the stadium. It's not the same as last year, even though we're being tested like last. It will be. I think it's going be. We've got to learn to live with it.
