Christopher Lloyd plays Rick Sanchez in new Rick And Morty clip

Our next universe is being explored by Rick Sanchez and Morty, his great-grandson. Adult Swim has released a new clip that shows a live-action version of Rick and Morty. The creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland must have listened to all the theories and beggings of fans in preparation for Sunday's double-episode finale.

Christopher Lloyd appears as Rick and lets out a sigh before telling Morty, "Were home!" Jaeden Martell taps into Morty's nervous energy as he anticipates another wild adventure with his grandfather. They enter the garage via the green portal and become Rick's laboratory. C-132 refers to Rick and Morty's version in this universe. This is also covered in the comics.

It is unclear whether the season finale will feature a live-action episode or if Harmon & Roiland made the teaser to create more excitement. Although it is possible they are teasing the Ricky And Morty movie that's currently in development, it's possible. Like the multiverse, there are many theories.

Before Rick and Morty was Emmy-winning, Lloyd's role as Rick was realized. Roiland made an X-rated short titled The Animated Adventures of Doc & Marthi in 2012 as a parody of the Back To The Future films. Roiland will voice Rick, but the actor who played Emmett Brown in Back To The Future fulfills a prophecy and plays his iconic character from another dimension.
