American Reilly Opelka fined tournament-high $10K for bag at US Open

NEW YORK -- American tennis star Reilly Opelka was given a $10,000 fine for bringing an unapproved bag onto Thursday's US Open second round match.
This is the biggest fine in the tournament, even though it was Saturday.

Before his straight-set win over Lorenzo Musetti, Opelka brought along a pink tote bag and his racket bag.

The acceptable dimensions of the gallery's logo were exceeded by the rulebook.

Opelka, 24 years old, joked about Friday's fine on Twitter, writing, "US Open ticket sales must struggleglin this year."
