Friday's Food Network protest was directed at a former host who used a sexist term to describe women in a tweet about abortions.

Josh Denny, a podcaster who was also the former host of Ginormous Food, said that he didn't agree with the notion that most women wouldn’t know they are pregnant after six weeks. To describe the situation, he used the slur.

The Food Network tweeted, "For those who are curious: Our working relationship was ended many years ago and we have removed all episodes that he hosted at that point," "His views don't reflect our company values, and we regret giving him a platform."

Denny posted this comment as one of many after the Supreme Court refused to block a Texas law that would prohibit abortions within six weeks. Denny stated that he was joking and would never apologize for his comedy.

Denny responded to the Food Network on Friday, suggesting that the network send him a check for the "10's of million dollars" the show generated for them. The Food Network is a division under Discovery Networks.

He said via Twitter, "You knew my views when you hired me" "My views reflect the beliefs of half this country."

According to tweets that are still active on the Food Network's Twitter feed, "Ginormous Food” debuted in January 2017. According to IMDB, Denny hosted 24 episodes.

Denny visited restaurants across the country to try out unusual offerings like the Big Bayou Monster po'boy and the 12-inch tall burger.

The top review on IMDB stated that "Calls himself a comedian, but has the comedic ability to trash can." Actually, trash cans are actually more funny than this man.
