Tesla's Cybertruck delayed until late 2022, Elon Musk confirms

This is the rate at which a Cybertruck can be seen on the streets.
Elon Musk, during a conference call with Tesla employees, confirmed that the Cybertruck won't go into production until 2022 and that volume production might not pick up until 2023 according to Electrek.

The Tesla website has quietly updated its timeline to reflect that the Cybertruck will be arriving in 2022 rather than the promised late 2021. Musk had previously tweeted about the supply chain and manufacturing issues that plagued Tesla, most likely due to pandemics. The delay was not surprising.

Although not surprising, Cybertruck customers who ordered the Cybertruck before Aug. 2021 were disappointed by the "late" part.

Although the Cybertruck promise should be fulfilled by the end of the year, Tesla buyers shouldn't expect it to happen any sooner than that. The Cybertruck will be made at the Gigafactory Texas in Austin, Tesla's new plant. Problem is? The Gigafactory itself is still being built.

If the Cybertruck is made by an industrial unit, it might prove difficult to get it into the hands of consumers.
