Gator vs. python A fisherman-chasing Gator. A failed attempt by a crocodile to capture a pelican.
In the Florida Everglades swampy marshes, we have seen many things happen. This is the real deal.
After it tried to eat a flying drone, an alligator searching for its next meal left with a lot of smoke in its mouth.
The viral TikTok video shows the gator jumping out of the water in order to grab his hovering prey... and crunch. The gator begins to smoke as he eats the drone.
The second video was posted earlier in the week and has over five million views. It shows the gator's mouth filling up with white smoke while he eats the device. The plume becomes larger and more opaque until it covers the entire gator.
A woman can be heard in the video saying, "Oh my God, don't eat that!" George no, no.
Another woman asks, "Is it on fire right this moment?"
The gator, whom the people in the video call George are calling, ducks under water and returns to the surface with tendrils of smoke surrounding him. The smoke is almost gone when he ducks again.
The first woman on the recording tells us that we have to get out of here.
Other voices can be heard in the background, as well as laughter. One man hopes that the gator will be able to digest the drone. One man wonders if the gator's tongue was burnt.
The video has been shared on Instagram by Everglade park rangers, who expressed concern about the incident.
Everglades National Park Service posted an Instagram message stating that drones and alligators don't mix.
According to the park service, it does not know where the video was taken. The park service also reminded that drones are not allowed in the park. Harassing wildlife can also be prohibited. You could face up to $5,000 in penalties.

Dehvlanger (a TikTok user) posted the video. He claimed that the group was trying get a close-up view of the alligator while on a trip to Everglades and it attacked their drone. According to the caption, George looks fine after it attacked their drone.
The Miami Herald could not reach Devhlanger. This person does not accept messages from anyone they don't follow on TikTok. Their Instagram account is also private. Commentaries on the videos were also disabled.
Everglades National Park stated that people and their equipment should be kept at least 15 feet from wildlife in order to protect them and other animals.
The park posted on Instagram that animals will react to you if they are near enough for you to take a selfie. If you are close enough to take a photo, then you're definitely too close.
The post ended with these words of wisdom: Let wildlife live wild.
