Jadon Sancho joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund for 73m in the summer

Manchester United winger Jadon Sáncho will not be able to travel to England's World Cup qualifiers against Andorra or Poland due to a "minor bump".

The 21-year old was injured in training earlier this week and had to sit out Thursday's victory over Hungary.

Gareth Southgate will be without him, so he will return to his club.

England stated that Sancho would be "expected to recover in the time necessary" to play against Newcastle United on Saturday, September 11.

Since joining the Red Devils for 73 million from Borussia Dortmund, a German Bundesliga side, Sancho has been a part of three Premier League matches.

He made his debut in the 1-0 win over Wolves, before the international break.

In 22 England appearances, the former Manchester City youth player scored three goals.

He saved a penalty in his last appearance with the Three Lions in their shootout loss to Italy in the European Championship final.

England hosts Andorra on Sunday (17:00 BST), before traveling to Poland on Wednesday (19.45 BST).
