Here's the official synopsis: Leto, newly crowned Duke Of House Atreides, discovers the plot behind the death of his father and must now prepare to face trial for a horrible crime he didn't commit. Even though Baron Harkonnen's evil plan seems to be working, Shaddam is starting his own coronation as supreme leader. Leto, the newly crowned Duke of House Atreides plans to attend Shaddams Imperial coronation but he has other plans than just hobnobbing around with the galactic elite. After rescuing the children from House Tleilaxu, he hopes to get the Emperor's forgiveness. The very young Duncan Idaho, who will teach Letos' son Paul how fight in Dune, also takes his first steps towards becoming the swordmaster at House Atreides.

Brian J. Anderson and his son Kevin J. Anderson created House Atreides using original Dune author Frank Herberts notes in 1999. Boom Studios has adapted their work and written it. The comic adaptation is illustrated by Dev Pramanik (Paradiso), Mariano Taibo and Alex Guimares, and Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future).
