Paul Millsap agrees to deal with Brooklyn Nets

DeAngelo Simons, Paul Millsap's agent, confirmed to ESPN that Millsap had agreed to a deal for the Brooklyn Nets.
Millsap joins Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden as the latest ex-All-Stars to join the Nets in the last few seasons. Brooklyn now has 38 All-Stars thanks to Millsap's four All Star appearances.

Millsap did not average double figures in scoring for the first time since 2007-08, his second season in the league. In 56 games, Millsap averaged 9.0 points and just 4.7 rebounds for the Nuggets.

Millsap was fired from his position as the Denver's starting quarterback after a deal for Aaron Gordon.

In the Nuggets' playoff rounds, he averaged just 6.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. This was a sign that the Nuggets were moving away from the 36 year-old.

Millsap provided some veteran experience, and was a leader of the Nuggets second unit. This helped Denver's bench beat Portland in the first round win over the Blazers.

Millsap will be a key player in the Nets' frontcourt rotation, following the departure of Jeff Green. Green signed earlier this summer with the Nuggets.
