Mark Davis, owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, submitted plans to construct a three-story, 15,000 square-foot mansion in Ascaya. Ascaya is a private community in Clark County in Nevada.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Eli Segall reported Tuesday that the house would have "strikingly comparable" design concepts to Allegiant Stadium (the Raiders' home stadium) and the team's practice area. Initial valuation was $14 million.
Bob Fielden, a Las Vegas architect, reviewed the plans. He told Segall that he expects that the first reaction from those who visit the home in person will not be "Holy s---t!"
They make a great trio. They are a perfect trio. Fielden spoke about the similarities in Davis' mansion and Raiders' venues.
Segall was informed by Davis that he doesn't know when the house would be completed.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the home will feature all the standard amenities, including a prep kitchen bar, steam room and library as well as a pool area and porte-cochere.
The Raiders will kick off their 2021 season on Sept. 13, when they face the Baltimore Ravens at Allegiant Stadium Monday Night Football.
