Joe Rogan, UFC commentator and host of 'The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, shared his Instagram account on Wednesday that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

He shared his story on Instagram Live that he had tested positive after feeling exhausted and feverish for several days.

He said that he and his wife "immediately threw the kitchen drain at it." "Monoclonal antibody, ivermectin and Z-Pak, prednisone." After three days, he claimed to feel rejuvenated.

Ivermectin is a horse-dewormer. The CDC has issued an advisory against the use of the drug to treat COVID-19. The dewormer is not proven to cure COVID-19, and large amounts can cause toxic effects on humans.

Rogan has promoted COVID-19 misinformation in the past and invited anti-vaxxers to his podcast. After being criticized for telling people in their 20s not to get the vaccine in April, Rogan said in April that he was not a doctor. "I'm a f---ing lunatic."

It is not known if Rogan has been vaccinated against COVID-19.
