Idiot Anti-Vaxxer Misspells “Moderna” on Falsified Vaccine Card

Chloe Mrozak was a 24-year old woman from Illinois who feigned her vaccination card to enter Hawaii in August.

Insider reports that she mispronounced Moderna as Maderna.

According to Hawaii News Now Mrozak was taken into custody on Saturday after returning to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport to board her flight.

This is especially concerning considering that COVID-19 cases are increasing in Hawaii. Governor David Ige declared last week that it was not a good time for tourists to visit the islands. He also announced that restrictions on travel from out-of-state visitors to the state will remain in effect until October 18.

This is a very dumbfounding example where people try to circumvent COVID-19 rules. It's also a shocking reminder of how the country still relies on handwritten papers to prove its vaccination status.

While many countries around the globe, including Canada and Europe, have implemented digital vaccination passports, it has been highly politicized in the United States, where several states are actively opposing the move.

Mrozak's card indicated that she was vaccinated in Delaware by members of the National Guard. However, investigators were unable to locate any documentation supporting this story.

According to Hawaii News Now, the woman is being accused of falsifying vaccination records. This is a misdemeanor crime. Her bail was set at $2,000.

Mrozak is not the only one who tried to enter Hawaii with fake documents. An additional couple from Miami reportedly tried to enter Hawaii by stealing documents earlier in the month. They were fined $8,000.

According to Insider you could be sentenced to up to one year for falsifying your card.

Let that be a lesson for anyone who tries to falsify their vaccination card. Even if you're not willing to get vaccinated, it is worth at least spelling the name correctly.
