Ederson, Manchester City's goalkeeper, has signed a new contract. This will extend his stay at Etihad Stadium through 2026.

Ederson joined the club in 2017 and has played 194 matches for City.

After Fernandinho, Kevin de Bruyne and John Stones, the Brazilian is now the fifth senior player who has agreed to new terms for 2021.

He said, "This was an easy choice - there's nowhere else I would want to be."

City offers the chance to be part of one the most successful football teams in the world and compete for trophies every year.

Four years after he arrived from Benfica, Ederson has won every domestic honor during his four-year tenure at the Etihad.

The Brazilian player has been in the City shirt for 194 games and kept a remarkable 95 clean sheets. He was twice awarded the Premier League's Golden Glove.

He continued, "We have done so much in four years."

"I'm confident that we can bring more success to this club in the coming years."

The 28-year old also praised Pep Guardiola's "outstanding" work and stated that it was "one of the most rewarding experiences in my career".
