In a September 1 video, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin acknowledged that President Joe Biden won the swing state. He attributed Trump's defeat to his inability to get enough Republican votes.

Johnson was filming while speaking with Lauren Windsor, producer of the political web show Under Current at the 52nd Wauwatosa GOP Chicken Burn, Sunday, August 29, 2009.

Senator, who strongly supported Wisconsin investigating allegations of voter fraud in 2020's presidential election, was recorded acknowledging Trump's defeat.

Johnson can be heard describing the vote counts for both the presidential and congressional candidates during the exchange between Windsor and Johnson.

He is heard saying, "Prior to the election, I was number one voter statewide with less than 1.5 million votes." Trump won 1.61 million votes in this election. Never has a Republican ever reached 1.5 million. Many Democrats have crossed the 1.5 million mark. Only the Republican candidate for state assembly received 1.661 millions votes. The eight candidates for Congress also received 1.661 millions.

Johnson said, "So we clearly counted enough Republican voters. Trump lost Wisconsin because 51,000 Republican voters did not vote for him. They voted for other Republican presidential candidates.

"So, you're telling us Joe Biden won this state fair-and-square?" Johnson is being questioned by Windsor.

Johnson replied, "Well, take a look at the totals." It is certainly possible. It's not obvious that the results are distorted."

Insider reached Johnson but did not receive a response immediately. Johnson supported an investigation into Wisconsin's vote count, even though he paid $3 million to expand Biden's lead of 87 votes.

It is the second time in a week that prominent conservative figures have admitted that Trump lost. Paul Ryan, former House Speaker, stated in an interview with WISN 12, Wisconsin's ABC affiliate, that Biden's win was "really obvious."

It was not rigged. It wasn't stolen. Donald Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the election," Ryan stated to WISN 12.

According to Politico, Biden won Wisconsin based on verified vote counts. This result flipped the state that Trump won in 2016 blue by a difference of 20,682 voters.

Wisconsin Republicans want approval to spend $680,000 for an election probe.
