It has been dubbed the latest fake cure for Covid-19 in recent weeks. This led to warnings from both the Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. CNBC searched Amazon for "iv", and the auto-complete function suggested that a variety of ivermectin products were available, including pills, paste, and injectable forms. These results indicate that enough people had searched for "ivermectin" on Amazon. Amazon's search algorithm is automatically trained to place it at the top.
