Although technically Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport will be open Monday, airport officials anticipate that all flights will be cancelled for the second consecutive day.
The airport posted on Twitter that passengers should still check with their airline to get the most current flight information.
According to the airport, it also stated that it was conducting a damage assessment following Hurricane Ida.
After landing with 150 mph winds 100 miles south of New Orleans, Ida cut power to New Orleans on August 29.
According to Flight Aware, 91% of flights out of New Orleans were cancelled as of Monday morning at 10:15 AM local time.
