Apple has signed a deal with Raymond and Ray, an upcoming movie that stars Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke.
The film tells the story of two brothers who live in the shadows of their father but still maintain a sense humor. They have the chance to reinvent themselves after their father passes away.
Ray and Raymond is a story about half-brothers Raymond and Ray, played by Ewan McGregor and Ray by Ethan Hawke. They have both lived under the shadow of their fathers. They each still have a sense for humor and the funeral of their father is an opportunity to reinvent themselves. There is anger, pain, folly, love, and most importantly, grave-digging.
Rodrigo Garca and Alfonso Cuarn will produce. Garca is well-known for his work on "In Treatment", "Albert Nobbs," or "Blue".
"Raymond" and Ray will be joining other Apple films like "CODA," Emancipation," Killers of the Flower Moon," Sharper," The Tragedy of Macbeth," and "Finch."
