On Sunday, Hurricane Ida struck Louisiana near Port Fourchon with 150 mph winds. It became the second-most intense hurricane to hit the United States, after Hurricane Katrina, 2005. The storm caused significant damage to parts of Louisiana, with nearly one million people without power in New Orleans.
Apple regularly donates to relief efforts after natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, wildfires and flooding around the globe.
