The specs and images of the GoPro Hero 10 Black were apparently leaked in their entirety. WinFuture accurately leaked the redesigned Hero 9 Black last year. The new flagship GoPro action cam will look almost identical to last year's miniature camera, but with a faster GP2 processor inside. This will allow for better overall performance.
The new GP2 processor will provide a significant boost in performance. It supports 5.3K videos at 60fps or 4K video at 120fps. This is great for slo-mo. This is an improvement on the flagship's 5K30 or 4K60. For even greater motion control, the Hero 10 Black can record at 2.7K or 240fps. However, this will result in a lower resolution. WinFuture has seen marketing materials and packaging that claim the new sensor increases photo resolution from 20 to 23 megapixels.
GoPro's in-camera software stabilization system is getting an update to HyperSmooth 4.0 and TimeWarp 3.0, which are both great for time-lapse videos. The features such as touch and voice control, a waterproof housing that can be lowered to 10 meters and front and back displays are all retained from last year.
There is no price or release information for the Hero 9 Black yet. The Hero 9 Black costs $399.99 with a subscription. However, if historical precedent holds, then an announcement should be made within the next few days. WinFuture has more photos until then.
