Marc Bernier, a long-time WNDB radio host, died from COVID-19 following a three week hospital stay, according to the Daytona Beach News Journal.
Marc Bernier has passed away at WNDB and Southern Stone Communications. Marc entertained and informed listeners on WNDB for more than 30 years, while enjoying a successful 46 year career as a broadcast journalist," a WNDB post stated.
Bernier was admitted to the hospital on August 10, and spent three weeks fighting off the virus. His last tweet was a link to a video by Nikki Fried, Florida Agriculture Commissioner. He asked residents to get vaccinated and he used it to compare the US government with Nazi Germany.
