Caleb Wallace, a prominent Texas anti-mask freedom rallies organizer, died Saturday from COVID-19 complications. He spent nearly a month in hospital.

Jessica Wallace, his wife and pregnant mother of three young daughters, reported the death of the father-of-three at 30-years-old on a GoFundMe page that she had created to solicit donations for household and medical bills.

Caleb peacefully passed away. She posted an update to the site, saying that Caleb will always be in our hearts and minds.

Wallace, a San Angelo resident, was admitted to the Shannon Medical Center on July 30th. According to the San Angelo Standard-Times, Wallace had been intubated and ventilated at the ICU since August 8.

Jessica Wallace posted on Facebook earlier this week that her husband wasn't doing well. She said that it wasn't going in our favor. She said that the hospital had told her it had no other options and she asked about a do-not-resusitate order.

She said, "My heart can't." He is the only person I can imagine living my life.

Caleb Wallace began experiencing COVID-19 symptoms last month.

Jessica Wallace explained to the newspaper that her husband refused to be tested initially and used unproven home remedies to combat the virus. These included high doses Vitamin C, Zinc, and Ivermectin, a common deworming treatment given to livestock. People suffering from side effects from ivermectin are flooding poison control centers. The Food and Drug Administration has also issued warnings about ingesting it.

Jessica Wallace said that he was so stubborn that he refused to see a doctor. Because he did not want to be part the COVID statistics, he refused to go to the doctor.

She stated to the newspaper that she wears masks and that her views are more conservative than those of her husbands.

Caleb would say to me, "You know masks won't save you," but he knew I wanted them. It is comforting to know that I might be able to protect someone else or avoid it.

She stressed that he was an incredible man, regardless of whether he was a hardcore conservative.

Last year, Wallace organized two protests against the COVID tyranny (business lockdowns masks and vaccinations).

He said that 2020 was one of the worst years in America at a protest he organized a year ago, the San Angelo Freedom Defenders.

Wallace posted on San Angelos' Facebook page last year, "Show me the science that masks actually work." Show me evidence that school closings work. Please show me evidence that lockdowns work.
