Bayern Munich 5-0 Hertha Berlin: Lewandowski scores 300th goal for club

Robert Lewandowski, a Borussia Dortmund native, joined Bayern Munich in 2014.

Robert Lewandowski scored 300th Bayern Munich goals in a hat trick as the Bundesliga champions beat Hertha Berlin with a 5-0 victory.

A club record was also broken by Gerd Müller in 1970 when the Polish striker scored in his 16th consecutive Bayern match.

Bayern's other goals were also discussed by Thomas Muller, Jamal Musiala and Jamal Musiala.

Bayern finished second on goal difference behind Bayer Leverkusen, who won the win over the league's bottom team.

Gerd Müller, 75, died on August 15th. He scored 547 goals in 594 games competitive during his 15-year tenure at Bayern.

Lewandowski now has a record 13 consecutive Bundesliga goals, which is a personal record for the German-born international at 33. Teammate Thomas Muller has also scored in Lewandowski's goal, making it the German international's 13th consecutive Bundesliga win.

Bayern met Hertha after Bremer SV was beaten 12-0 in the DFB Pokal German Cup midweek.
